Peak Wilderness 보호구역은 Sri Pada(Adams Peak) 산 주변 224평방킬로미터의 땅에 펼쳐진 열대 우림입니다.
"Sri Pada" Peak Wilderness의 등고선은 해발 1000피트에서 7360피트까지 다양합니다. 따라서 섬의 다른 자연 보호 구역에 비해 특이한 지형을 가지고 있습니다.
Kelani, Kalu, Walave 강과 Dotalu 폭포, Geradi 폭포, Galagama 폭포(655피트) 및 Mapanana 폭포(330피트)와 같은 폭포를 성역 내부에 만드는 Mahaweli 강의 많은 지류의 발상지이기도 합니다.
생태관광객은 스리랑카 야생동물 보호부의 허가를 받은 후 보호구역에 입장할 수 있습니다. 비가 오는 동안 성역에 들어가는 것은 예기치 않은 호우와 즉각적인 홍수로 인해 생명이 위험한 상황으로 이어지기 때문에 관광객의 자신의 위험에 처해 있습니다.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
