スリランカのバドゥーラ地区マヒヤンガナにある古代の貯水池です。ドゥトゥゲムヌ王 (紀元前 161 年 - 紀元前 137 年) の治世中に、ブラタという巨人によって建設されたと考えられています。古代、このタンクは「ビンテナの海」として知られていました。
ディヤワンナ大谷を485メートルの堤防でせき止めて造られたタンクです。タンクの水門は堤防から戦略的に離して配置し、タンク周囲の巨大な自然の岩を利用して構成されています。スリランカで発見されたこのタイプの水門。
水槽での乗船も楽しめます。
