Elephant Rock, che prende il nome dalla presunta somiglianza della roccia con un elefante, è un luogo di surf estremamente popolare per i principianti, situato a soli 4 km da Arugam Bay. Sebbene Elephant Rock possa essere ben noto, è una delle spiagge meno affollate dell'isola, in gran parte a causa della mancanza di accesso stradale.
Elephant Rock è un piccolo sperone ai margini di una baia e offre delle fantastiche viste panoramiche;
