محمية Peak Wilderness عبارة عن غابة استوائية مطيرة تنتشر على مساحة 224 كيلومترًا مربعًا حول جبل Sri Pada (Adams Peak).
تتنوع معالم قمة "سري بادا" البرية من 1000 إلى 7360 قدمًا فوق مستوى سطح البحر. لذلك فهي تمتلك تكوينات جغرافية غير عادية مقارنة بالمحميات الطبيعية الأخرى بالجزيرة
وهي أيضًا مسقط رأس أنهار كيلاني وكالو ووالاف والعديد من روافد نهر ماهاويلي التي تصنع شلالات مثل شلالات دوتالو وشلالات جيرادي وشلالات غالاجاما (655 قدمًا) وشلالات مابانانا (330 قدمًا) داخل الحرم.
يمكن للسياح البيئيين دخول المحمية بعد الحصول على إذن من إدارة حماية الحياة البرية في سريلانكا. يعتبر دخول الحرم خلال موسم الأمطار على عاتق السائح نفسه بسبب الأمطار الغزيرة غير المتوقعة والفيضانات الفورية التي تؤدي إلى حالات خطرة على الحياة.

Today, I went to the beach with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
